Epilobium angustofolium. Fireweed sends roots so deeply that it avoids damage from fires and is among the first plants to reappear after a fire. The name also aptly describes its appearance on Alaskan hillsides in late July and Early August. Available as a conventional print as large as 11" x35". This image is also available as a gallery-wrap giclee, printed on canvas, stretched, and finished with clear, acrylic brushstrokes. Standard size 15"x37". Custom sizes available upon request.
